Well hello there, how is everyone today? Are you a fan of monochromatic looks? I have noticed lately, that my go-to outfits are a blend of tones, tones of one colour. Monochromatic looks always seem to have an air of sophistication, a sense of elegance and are quite calming.
Now don’t get me wrong, I adore bright, bold statement pieces, that make you smile and infuse happiness into your day. However, I find it depends on how busy the rest of my life is, sometimes the simplicity and ease is very welcome.

Today’s soft grey pallet was simple to throw together and perfect for a day when there was lots to do and no time to do it. It all started with these fabulous jeans. My go to denim designer is Paige, I find no matter the style, wash or stretch, you can be confident in this brand. This particular pair is done in a beautiful light grey wash and grazes the ankles at the perfect spot for heels or flats. I have worn them a few times and they do not stretch out, you can be happy knowing your bum will not expand as the day goes on and your knees won’t look saggy the more you wear them.
I am wearing a size 27 and found them quite snug initially, however, that, my friend, is always the case when buying new jeans. BUY THEM TIGHT, trust me, they will form to your body, booty, much better:)

Grey pumps are a staple in my wardrobe, they should be in every girls wardrobe, so why not own a pair with unique details. These western inspired suede pumps are by Sam Edelman, I adore this eye catching look with a bit of sultry style. Sitting on a slim 4″ heel and cushioned sole, makes them incredibly comfortable. I would suggest you order a half size down from your normal. I am a true size 9 and wish I had ordered an 8.5.

Hidden underneath is this gem of a top. If you are on the hunt for a good quality blouse, I highly recommend the brand Equipment. Regardless of shape, style or colour, you can rest assured you are getting your moneys worth.
What attracted me to it in the first place, was the versatility. Worn as a dress, over jeans or tucked in to your favorite pencil skirt, it’s another one of those must have items that you will never tire of.
I purchased a small and it fit perfectly, no pulling across my bust and on my 5’7 frame the length is extremely flattering.
